Growing up outside of Boston, Anthony learned the value of diligence early on, managing to work full-time while in high school. This industrious spirit led him to Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he continued to excel. However, facing the unexpected loss of his father, Anthony demonstrated remarkable resilience by taking a break from his educational path. During this time, he secured employment to support his family, showcasing a commitment to responsibility and family values. Despite the temporary detour, Anthony persevered, ultimately returning to his academic pursuits with unwavering determination.
This experience, marked by both triumphs and challenges, became a defining chapter in Anthony’s journey, shaping his character and fortifying his resolve for the road ahead.
Driven by a passion for science and healthcare, Anthony pursued a pharmaceutical degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, graduating with honors. Undeterred by challenges, he embarked on a remarkable academic journey, earning a medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. His commitment to excellence didn't stop there; as a medical student, Anthony played a pivotal role in developing a groundbreaking MD/MBA program at Dartmouth College in collaboration with the prestigious Tuck School of Business.
Further honing his medical skills, Dr. Perrone sought additional training in plastic surgery at the University of Rochester, followed by a fellowship at Harvard University, where he contributed to groundbreaking work at Mass General Hospital. This experience paved the way for Anthony to rise as the chief plastic surgeon in a prominent medical facility in Maine.
Beyond the realms of medicine, Anthony ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully establishing multiple businesses. His journey took an unexpected turn, leading him to public health consulting, where his insights and expertise made a significant impact in public safety.
